  I have an apology.
  My wife is gone
  and I am afraid of our son.
  Afraid I will cause him pain.
  I am sorry
  I have failed.

  The second child has failed,
  For me she has no apology,
  She cannot speak, she is gone,
  forgotten everything except her pain,
  forgotten my son.

  She still hates my son,
  she would rebuke him, but her tounge has failed
  He tries to understand her pain,
  he begins an apology
  but she is already gone
  into herself, and he is sorry.

  Just as I am sorry
  that I have hurt my son,
  to him my heart is gone
  but he doesn't know that I have failed
  and so I must give an apology
  to alleviate his pain.

  All I have done has caused pain
  and I am sorry.
  I have worked so hard, to earn an apology
  to my son
  and to my wife, both of whom I failed
  to one of whom I'm gone.

  Soon we will all have gone
  to a place without pain
  and for that I am not sorry.
  Finally my son
  will have his long deserved apology.

  My dear gone Yui I am sorry
  For your pain and our son's  
  I have failed you both and now I beg, please accept my apology.

   I hope you liked that, this is my first sestina, and i must admit I am more than a little proud of it. Also I would like to thank Neil Gaiman for introducing a sestina too me and inspiring me to write one.
