'''BTest''' refers to the ''beta testing'' of the laptop ''[[hardware]]''.  These are limited production runs of actual laptops to improve the hardware design, and to support development.  The ''[[software]]'', at least as of BTest-1, is however still in ''alpha test'' - it is still being rapidly modified.  You do ''not'' need a laptop to [[OS images for emulation|try the OS]], or to try just the human interface [[Sugar]], though both are currently mostly of interest to software developers who would like to assist us.
