Quick sketch/mockup of what the board area might look like. Shown is a single territory along with a quick legend. The icons are just sketched quickly to give an idea of abstraction level.
Shows small badge icons applied on top of squares to show allegiance changes under way and current productivity status. A unit production progress pie-chart is placed in the territory's header with the type of unit being produced overlaid.
The territories might be as small as 2x2, with anything from a 3x3 grid of territories up a 24x24 grid for a very large group of players.
