First lets examine the available ways to reduce PDM traffic
- Increase path expiration time
- Reduce the number of PREQ in a cluster
- Increase PREQ delay time
- Reduce ttl
But reducing airtime is equivalent of reducing the airtime:
- Increase multicast rate
