The DBs mentioned are virtually static, it would make sense to preserve atypical wireless communications for regular updates. ---DyD

It would be possible to *easily* build in an AM radio using the 484 chip... It is also easy, but impractical to build in a respectable AM transmitter, due to the simplicity of the circuit and high power requirements(1+W)... ---DyD 13 September 2007
