LG Digital Fine Contrast does magic for anime!
Were you rubbing your eyes in disbelief at episode 3 of Yoake Mae yori Ruri-iro na? Or were you stabbing them with blunt pencils to relieve them of their agony like I was? Does it bring you merciless flashbacks of those recurring Soul Link nightmares that took many days of psychological therapy to suppress?
If you answer “Yes” or “Maybe” to any of those questions above, you need to get yourself a LG digital LCD display! It will solve all of your anime quality problems completely!
Read on for the delicious details.
Just take a look at this comparison picture from an electronics store in Akihabara:
LG’s dynamic contrast feature gives your anime a much more 3D and realistic appearance!
Utilizing the latest in elven magic and lunar technology, LG turns your crappily-drawn anime into works of art during real-time playback!
Its effects on live-action shows are, however, less than satisfactory. :(

I think I’m drunk, but I’m not even near alcohol.
Is DM losing it?

Hi DM’s webmaster,
I think you need to put a tag on every post stating “this is from JP, please don’t take it seriously.”
In case your audiences don’t use their brain… or don’t have one.
Kind Regards,
I am DRUNK.

JUU SCAMZOR.

Hey, that’s cheating!
The second comparison image was comparing a scene from some ero-game turned anime with a scene from the original ero-game. Everyone knows still images from erogames are waaaaay better and have more quality!

Nah…I dont believe in that ad. Look at the Feena and you’ll know its a comparsionbetween the Anime and Game Art.
October 27th, 2006 at 9:10 am
i think its not even cabbage looks more like a honeydew or melon.
October 27th, 2006 at 9:49 am
Ok I guess I should explain.
The whole meme started in 2ch because episode 3 had such crappy animations. The cabbage was used by the 2ch people as a rallying point because that scene showed an obvious lack of quality and also because it didn’t really look like a cabbage.
So anyway, 2ch people were are going “CABBAGE!!!” in every AkeRuri-related thread and posting pictures of cabbages in everything.
Akihabara, being the cutting edge of otaku in-jokes, did the same and this shop parodied the original LG advertisement, which is the third picture up there.
JEEZ GUYS! Jokes aren’t meant to be explained.
October 27th, 2006 at 1:01 pm
I cannot believe some people didn’t get the joke.
October 27th, 2006 at 10:15 pm
wwwww i saw this
October 29th, 2006 at 9:35 pm
Using poorly drawn anime sequences and referencing them to the original ero-game CG as a sales tactic?
Talk about the wonders of advertising.
Well…it MIGHT convince.
October 29th, 2006 at 10:47 pm
>>I cannot believe some people didn’t get the joke.
Sry if I’m wooden, but sometimes an explaination is always better than none.

Oh boy! Maybe LG will come out with a printer that prints REAL money. T_T
