It is, but kanji readings can be specifically altered for poetic effects, such as reading 宇宙 as "sora", 運命 as "sadame", or 処女はお姉さまに恋してる as "otome wa boku ni koishiteru"...... 永久 is usually read as "eikyuu" anyway, like how 明日 is usually "ashita" unless indicated as "asu".
