Hare Hare Yukai International
SOS-dan is taking over the world, one Hare Hare Yukai dance at a time! Here’s a YouTube video of a whole bunch of weird people from all over the globe performing the trademark dance.
Singapore’s entry came from the recently-held Cosfest VI at Downtown East. I like Mexico’s dance moves. There are even some folks from “Itary”! Also, I can’t really tell through all the compression artefacts introduced by MPEG’s discrete cosine transform, but I think that Spanish girl looks pretty hawt. The Danish one too. And Australia is pretty sad… :(
One day, everyone will dance Hare Hare Yukai and world peace will finally be achieved.

@jiv: Definitely Monterrey, that’s from the last Convencion de Comics y Juegos de Mesa. Unless they have their very own Alechan in La Mole or any other convention, that’s from Mty, I’m sure of. XD

I see an unprecedented expansion in Hare Hare Yukai’s popularity. Combined with the non-territorial character of the Internet, Haruhism will spread to the world!
Soon, the world will uphold a collective sense of Haruhism…

I wonder if most people really like the song because of the anime or if they like the song in the first place o_O
(I know I liked the anime first, but ever since I read it’s translation, it became like a refuge for whenever I’m feeling down XD)

Haruiists are everywhere buying stuffs and does hit out on the market wonder why otakus have got doubled.
March 21st, 2008 at 10:58 am
I’m a fan a Haruhi, but going as far as learning the dance is something I’d never do. It’s unfortunate that half the people watch the show only because of the FUCKING DANCE! It’s an excellent show if you actually pay attention to what people say instead of spending 25 minutes anticipating the credits.
March 21st, 2008 at 3:50 pm
You can hardly call yourself a fan if you didn’t learn the dance.
And who says we didn’t pay attention to the content of the series? True Haruhiists know the stories of their God-Empress inside and out.
Necromancy FTL.
