Gundam 00 — Episode 21
This entry is behind schedule due to various real-life circumstances and is in no way related to the recently-released ToHeart2 AnotherDays game.

Summary
This is mainly an action episode. HRL launches an attack against Trinity’s mountain lair in northwestern Africa, while AEU and Union cooperate to take down Ptolemaios.
Saji finds out that his sister was investigating on Aeolia Schenberg and goes into emo mode. Like an internet child predator patiently grooming his potential victim, Sunrise is setting Saji up to become the ultimate emo protagonist of pure hatred. Next episode: Saji finds out that Celestial Being agents infiltrated his school and gave him a failing grade for his history module.
Setsuna is having (wet) dreams of Marina, which is weird considering they have only met like four times, but I guess that’s teenage infatuation for you. (Especially since Marina has the older sister thing going.) This is timely reminder to the audience that Marina still exists. I wonder how Azadistan is doing now…
Alejandro leaves no loose ends. Ragnar Harvey is dead and the Trinity siblings are betrayed.
During the battle with the Jinxes, the Gundams get deactivated by a hacked Veda. Fortunately, Sumeragi predicted this and had Feldt and Christina prepare a “stand-alone operating system” (lol) that bypasses Veda.
Unfortunately, it seems to work for everyone except Virtue. Tieria emos after he realizes that he’s just been dumped by Veda, his one true love.
Surprisingly, Mr. Patrick Coleslawguy gets to do more than get owned in this episode. He manages to shoot through Virtue’s GN field, destroy Dynames’ rifle, and then cut through Dynames’ frontal armour while Lockon is trying to shield the deactivated Tieria from certain death. The reason for his sudden jump in performance? Apparently, Colonel Manekin promised him a kiss. (Or maybe that’s just his own delusion too.)
The guy whose name I can’t ever remember appears at the critical moment with GN arms to save the day. AEU and Union Jinxes retreat.
Interestingly, during the two missions, exactly three Jinxes get destroyed. (At least by my count.) I’m guessing it’s one from each power bloc. I say it’s interesting because what happens if the three superpowers do manage to destroy Celestial Being, but do so at the cost of a few more Jinxes? Wouldn’t the one with the most left “win”? And shouldn’t they then be more concerned about preserving those Jinxes for the inevitable world war that is going to come next? Oh forget it, I’m sure Alejandro will deactivate them as soon as Celestial Being is gone anyway.

I think Lockon’s twin will have a part in this from here on. I don’t think it would be safe to assume that he wouldn’t. He made one, 5 second, speechless appearance, after all. We’re not even sure what he is, apart from the fact that he looks exactly like Lockon, Lockon is aware of his existence, and he has a relation to Lockon’s family. Hell, it wouldn’t even be safe to call him a biological brother. They might pull a SEED and he’d just be an adopted clone.

Setsuna foster mom… You also forgot about the greatest evil computer of all time Terminator’s Skynet or HAL 9000 from 2001 a Space Odyssey.
As for Lockons brother… Its weird. We dont even know which one went to the grave and which one was behind the tree. I though Lockon was behind the tree.

Tiera and that guy who hacked Veda are probably clones of someone or something. Theres always bound to be some clone in a gundam series. Meh.

Funny how Saji was trapped in a floating gravity pod due to a mishap caused by a super soldier (that was influence by a gundam Meister).
Nearly gets fried in a terrorist bombing (that happend as response against the celestial being), that was eventually crushed by the gundams.
His girlfriend loses a hand after being shot at by a throne gundam (Twice) and becomes the only survivor.
His sister (who is investigating the Celestial Being) dies, killed by one the meister’s old nemesis…
We all know he will eventually become involved in the whole gundam buisness…
Too many coincidences… Saji is litteraly the most unlucky man to have ever lived so that the gundams explicitely destroy his life with all the little things they did which oddly enough always found their way to have on impact on his existence…

It is going to be quite interesting in the upcoming episodes. Ali is shown to have stolen a Throne unit and I doubt he will die in this season.
I’m also quite confused. Sometimes before piloting Exia, Setsuna does an eye scan, which was only shown once, to confirm the pilot. So, does it mean if let’s say, other people scan their eyes in Exia, they will not be able to pilot it. If that is the case, I was just wondering how is Ali able to move the Throne unit as shown in the episode preview, believing that Throne does have the scanning system too.
I’m also hating Alejandro and Libbons or Livonze or even Ribbons, whatever his name is and hoped that both of them will die badly.

toSyndrome…yah sorry man must have slipped ma mind from frustration over Ribbons(uke) and Aljendro (rapest)

can people stop with the saji/lockon’s twin/etc gets a gundam thinking? thats completely impalusible, for a start, i doubt they would be willing to set foot within the cockpit of one (espicially saji considering all the truma he has suffered at the hands of anything with the label gundam), and even if they did, they would have to undergo at least a year or two of training to pilot the damn thing, time which CB does not have the luxury of at the moment, plus i doubt someone of saji’s physique would be able to withstand the g-forces involved with flying large machines at high speed
syndrome, they probably haven’t talked about the O gundam cos it is an obsolete prototype, which has served its purpose as a plot device behind setsunas motivations behind being a gundam meister, there are 3 other gundams beisde the CB ones and the thrones which haven’t got a mention in the anime either (the astrea, sadalsuud(sp?) and plutone for those who wish to know), cos they aren’t relevant to the anime’s plot
i don’t know whether to agree with the asumption that lockon is blind, it’s palusible, but the helmets have those tinted visors for a reason besides looking cool and thats to prevent that from happening (being blinded that is)

to random hero
hope ur right man about the lockon assumption, thought the blood floating around against gravity in the cockpit did make me wonder from where did it get there as i asumed Haro IS SITLL TALKING and he is, well, robot . and there isn’t a single shred in lockon’s suit …just the helmet is broken…in space….oneside…., so i guess him being blind from ‘one’ eye might be understandabel

Well the thing is I’m not so much Interested in O Gundam as I am in the pilot. If Lockon is indeed dead it would seem more plausible to have them step in rather than Saji or Lockons twin.
Plus this pilot, whomever they may be, Is somewhat idolized by Setsuna . One would assume this pilot probably helped train Setsuna and was his connection to CB. I mean, Its not like he can walk into a CB recruitment office.

interesting idea, however there is also the chance that the pilot is long since dead, but that doesn’t mean they can’t do a flashback, it’s also possible that one of the second generation meisters had a hand in his training as well (we haven’t much about felts past and late parents either, apart from the fact that they were meisters)
i think he’s more idolized by proxy, cos from i’ve seen so far, the object of setsunas idolization has been the gundam itself, mind you what self respecting teenage boy would not idolize a giant robot, especially when they’re given one?
btw on the subject of gundams, does anyone know what those steel belts that grace their limbs are for? namely the ones covering exias shoulders and the elbows on dynmaes, kyrios and virtue?

I guess we are leaving marina and setsuna’s relationship is setsuna having a crush or not???
……why the hell doesn’t she tell anyone that setsuna is a gundam meister..guess she’s developing a crush on the fellow too, even though she’s like 6 yrs older than him ( check the japanese site to c that im right about the age difference …man i was shocked to know that Aljendro is in his 30’s!!!!! Man ,plastic surgery is sure c0ol in 300 yrs time.
, maybe Marina will end up like Relena Peacecraft from gundam wings with a secret brother( like Zechs Merquise ) who might be Aljendro or someone involved in the whole celestial being business.
Anyway, is it me ,or does the female HRL captain look like Teria? it would be c0o0ol if he was like the biological- mutant- android -clone of one of her long lost family members cauz she seems to be rich and coming from an elite family . ( just a thought ppl don’t go flaming me or something , im not a sunrise screenplay writer !! i wish i was i would have putten myself into the plot )

that is because he is the show’s hero
March 10th, 2008 at 11:45 am
He was never really meant to be the main hero… he’s simply an innocent bystander unlucky enough to be set up as the super protangonist of hatred of season 2.

OH GAWD YOUR RIGHT
eeeeewww. Saji.
