I’ve been to the atomic bomb museum and memorial park before, and I’ve always found the big statue guy to be nothing really related to the atomic bomb. To so-called symbolism behind the statue’s posture, expression, and positioning of arms could be just about anything the sculptor wanted to construe meaning as. Heck, he could even argue that the statue is Aristotle and Plato in disguise.
