Studio Key‘s (makers of Air, Clannad and Kanon) latest project, Little Busters!, has finally been given an official release date. You can look forward to downloading buying it on 27 July. And the Key fanboys go wild!

Actually, I’m getting sick of Key games. Not to mention that Itaru Hinoue‘s art isn’t looking any better. The style has changed and improved, but it still can’t compare to the high quality art that I am used to seeing from the other (relatively) major game studios. I mean, what the heck is this thing? Seriously!

Tomoyo After had the best character art ever in a Key game. Planetarian comes in second. Guess who did NOT do the character designs for them? <_<

I present to you my greatest masterpiece ever, after the jump.

otaku lifestyle crisis

a pile of unplayed ero-games,
a dozen series, a long long way.
disk space, less than one tenth free,
wallet, emptied to pay for plastic things.
school holidays this time is supposed to be,
why is my calendar packed like cans of sardines?

weekend, spent on php,
weekdays, booked from dawn till dusk.
nus is a nice place to be,
but that project deadline will soon pass.
jlpt on december three,
maybe i should get started on that task…

preorders, forgotten until time for release.
figurines, all made in china, priced in yen.
maybe i shouldn’t have bought those haruhi dvds,
only when the orders ship, do you feel the pain.
curse amazon jp and its fiendish schemes,
product recommendations and nhk be my bane.

i need a money press and a time machine.

More money-spending

Went to Kinokuniya on the way back from the JLPT test centre. The paper was quite okay. Vocabulary section was easier than previous years, but grammar section was harder, so it balanced out. More or less.

But anyway, Kinokuniya is having a 20% sales again, so I couldn’t help but spend more money. T_T Forgive me, my poor (in both sense) bank account. Finally picked up the limited edition of NHK ni Youkoso! vol.4 (with Misaki figurine…) and also collected my order for Suzuka vol.9.

Suzuka vol.9 was ZOMG good. Can’t wait for the next volume. Interestingly, it has sort of broken out of the “Love Hina” (i.e. like but don’t like) phase, which is quite unexpected. Looking forward to the next volume… to be released at the end of eternity.

NHK ni Youkoso! continues to be hilariously deranged or perhaps insanely humourous. But you get the idea.

Misaki is currently located above my subwoofer with Lacus from Gundam SEED Heroine DX.

But anyway, I started playing Tomoyo After today. Holy shit, it’s hilarious. lmao. But I suppose the story will probably start getting all dark and angsty soon. I must also add that I prefer the art style over the one used in Kanon and Air.

On another note, Tomoyo is just too guilible… XD
