Hmm, but some of Haruhi fans were also a collectors (thus they can coughed up enough money to buy the expensive resin figure). For Ikkitousen figures, aside from fanboys, people who like sexy figure will also buy them.
Generally, for figurines, if they are decent enough (in term of sculpt, painting etc), there will be people who will buy them (regardless of whether those people even watch the show that the character of the figure is based on,or even if the character is original ie not from any show)

This is cool stuff indeed. But resin figures are meh for me. Easy to break.

I think if this kit is original, they’ve got to keep making them. It’s good stuff.

And FWIW, is it licensed? I get the feeling it’s a no. And if that’s the case it’s not likely to go well with some of the hardcore figure collectors.
