The next in line after Haruhi, Mikuru gets the Max Factory treatment. Preorders are open for this PVC figure of the loli-moÃ© SOS-dan member. Sadly, judging by the preorder status, it doesn’t seem to be doing so good. I guess Haruhi is a tough act to follow.

I can’t exactly place my finger on any particular spot, but the figure doesn’t feel Mikuru the way Max Factory Haruhi radiates off a Haruhi aura. Maybe I am just bias. The figure retails for ï¿¥4,800.

Speaking of 1/6 1/8 Max Factory Haruhi, HobbyLink Japan has reopened preorders for it. They have also posted the exact number of units they will be getting: 20 for the February batch, 30 for the April batch and enough stock in June to fulfill the remaining orders. I think I have a good chance of getting the April if not the February batch considering I ordered relatively early.

Here we go again. Preorders have reopened, yet again, for Max Factory’s 1/8 Haruhi. The release date for this third batch is (gasp!) June. I think almost everyone who wants one of these should already have one preordered, so there’s probably no need to hurry.

You can get it from 1999 or HLJ for about ï¿¥3,800. The stocks are probably not going to be gone within 5 seconds of this post like the previous two times, but those of you dying to get one should nevertheless place your orders ASAP.

That said, June is an awfully long wait from the first batch coming out in February…

1/8 Haruhi gone in 60 seconds

Various hobby websites put up preorders for the second batch of Max Factory 1/8 Haruhi today. The first batch of 5000 units is due for release in February and the preorders, online and offline at Akihabara, were gone in a matter of hours. The second batch was put up today and is due for release in April.

And once again, preorders ended at record speed. I think we can all agree that Haruhi is awesome and this happens to be the most accurate representation of her awesomeness so far, making it one of the most awesome-nest figures ever. To misquote the late Winston Churchill, never in the history of human ~~conflict~~ entertainment has so many fapped so hard to so few.

Just a few websites that were taking preorders.

Your best hope now is to keep refreshing CDJapan because they have yet to start taking orders for the new batch. Alternatively, pray for HLJ.

P.S. I ordered two from HLJ for the first batch. I hope they are able to fulfil the orders…
