Since I&#8217;m such a sellout and I&#8217;m lazy to fill this blog with actual original content, I agreed to help them publicize this.<\/p>\n<p class=\"caption\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.appleseedtrailerremix.com\/\"><img src='http:\/\/www.darkmirage.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/22_appleseed.jpg' alt='Appleseed' style='width:400px; height:225px;' \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.appleseedtrailerremix.com\/\">The contest<\/a> involves mixing your own <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.warnervideo.com\/appleseed\/\">Appleseed: Ex Machina<\/a><\/strong> trailer using the soundtrack and footage provided. Apparently there is a built-in editor on the website, which <em>probably<\/em> means that you can&#8217;t use your own preferred video editing software with all the cool effects you learnt from wasting your life on making AMVs on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer with the most user votes wins. The winner gets a free trip to San Francisco in February for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comic-con.org\/\">WonderCon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The contest ends on <strong>February 7th<\/strong> and the DVDs for the movie will be out in stores on March 11th.
