My short report on today’s Summer Days event in Akihabara.

We arrived at Akihabara Station at about 9.30am. The tickets for the event were given out at 10am, but there was already a queue of around 50 people by the time we got there. Of course the event room sits 120 people so we were fine. The event itself was quite short. The guy in-charge of scenario for Summer Days gave an introduction to the setting of the game and the various characters.

More details after the jump:

Jumped.

Some facts I still remember from his talk:

Seating was done by lot-drawing. We got quite good seats in the second row. Sadly, I didn’t get picked for the question and answer round, thus I didn’t manage to get any of the goods they were giving out. (including a Setsuna wall scroll and a meganekko Kotonoha phone card), but at least I got this promo poster that was given out to everyone…

Setsuna is wearing the waitress uniform of the cafe ran by Sekai’s mother (I’m guessing it’s her taste…). They had a girl cosplaying in the waitress uniform above during today’s event.

On another note, the guy sitting beside me (I was no. 18, he was no. 17) was a Kotonoha fan. I wanted to beat him up for that but I stopped myself because half of the room would come after me with kitchen knifes. Damn Kotonoha fanboys. *mumbles* And yeah, he did get the phone card.

After watching the demo, I sort of feel like getting the game… Well, we’ll see if I have enough money left at the end of this trip.

My short report on today’s Summer Days event in Akihabara.
