I suppose <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joystiq.com\/2010\/10\/19\/professor-layton-meets-phoenix-wright-in-crossover-3ds-game\/\">this<\/a> makes one compelling reason to get an overpriced Nintendo 3DS.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"center\"><object type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" style=\"width:400px; height:241px;\" data=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/iY4gtoyLpqE\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/iY4gtoyLpqE\" \/><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><\/object><\/div>\n<p>It&#8217;s a strange crossover, but not the strangest. Certainly makes more sense than <em>Kingdom Hearts<\/em>. Also, is it just me or is this the first time Ryuuichi\/Phoenix and his <a href=\"http:\/\/tvtropes.org\/pmwiki\/pmwiki.php\/Main\/TheNotLoveInterest\">Not Love Interest<\/a> appear fully voiced and animated? I&#8217;ve played all the games including <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.darkmirage.com\/2009\/08\/18\/ace-attorney-investigations-miles-edgeworth\/\">Gyakuten Kenji<\/a><\/em>, but maybe I&#8217;m missing some spin-offs.<\/p>\n<p>The general idea is intriguing enough, but I worry the more serious-looking storytelling and art directions may undermine <em>Gyakuten<\/em>&#8216;s good old 16-bit charm and quirky humour. I just hope it doesn&#8217;t get raped the way <em><a href=\"http:\/\/ps3.ign.com\/articles\/112\/1124894p1.html\">Front Mission<\/a><\/em> did.
