Haruhi figures I want to get my dirty hands all over
Wonder Festival 2007 Winter may have ended, but the coverages are in full swing. Akiba-blog has comprehensive coverages on all the Haruhi and Yuki figurines that were present at the event.
One particularly awesome resin figure caught my attention…
Legs… @_@
Not since BUBBA’s Haruhi Bunny have I wanted a resin figure so badly. It’s probably a lost cause, but a man can dream. This resin figure was sculpted by YZJ from the group Cobra-kai. You can see a slightly better picture of it on his blog. ほしいぃな～～
The other figure I really like is Kaiyodo‘s Haruhi. This one will probably be available in PVC soon.

The Kaiyodo Haruhi looks good with the jacket and all. The face seems a little off (or at least from the angle in the picture), but I still like it.

That bunny Haruhi is rather nice, although the face has seemed a little off to me in a couple of pictures. But that could merely be a trick of photography.
Also, in regards to the second Space Yuki, am I perhaps correct in saying that you’ve forgone a few meals and have decided to purchase one from the gathering line like with the original Bunny Haruhi?
I’m keeping a lookout for his second Yuki to go up on gathering at some point in the near future myself, too much awesome for one man to handle. Now if only BUBBA would make an Asakura figure I would probably be able to die a happy man.

other angles I’ve seen of the Kaiyodo Haruhi seem to suffer from the common mistake of making her too soft regarding the shape of the eyes/eyebrows. It’s a shame coz everything else is pretty sweet.
Then again, more money I can use to spend on other Haruhi merch >_

I wonder… I saw the Day of Sagittarius Haruhi, and the Day of Sagittarius Yuki, but I didn’t see a Day of Sagittarius Mikuru. Do they make one? I’ve got to say that a complete set would definitely sell. I’d be tempted…

It’s important to note that most of the figures on those two pages will not be available as mass-produced PVC, so don’t start reaching for your wallets too soon yet.
