   This your japanese text looks like an essey written by native japanese.

   But I, as a japanese speaker, have some advice for you.
   I don’t know what kind of contest you entry.
   If this is a formal contest, you use formal japanese instead of such informal japanese.
   My suggestion is 丁寧な「です・ます調」にしましょう。
   For example,
   「・・必要だそうです。で、サンタさんは・・」->「・・必要だそうです。それで、サンタさんは・・」
   「・・全然間に合わないんです」->「・・全然間に合いません」

   Another advice is japanese detail for effectiveness.
   「しかもクリスマス・イヴの一晩だけで全世界の子度たちにプレゼントを送るのです。物理と常識からみると、こんなおとぎ話はどう考えてもありえないでしょう。では、なぜ今でも世の中にサンタを信じている人がいるのでしょうか。」

   はじめまして。
   書いた人が日本人なら変なアドバイスだよね。
   というか、君は日本人なの？
   もし日本人なら、日本人が日本語のスピーチコンテストなんて出ていいのかって疑問があるんだけど。
   日本語を大きくなってから習い始めたんだったら、この日本語のレベルはすごいよね。

   ちょっと補足。
   「丁寧な「です・ます調」にしましょう。」
   って書いたけど、一応「です・ます調」にはなっていましたね。
   ・・・何て言うか、ですますで書いてるのに妙に日本語がくだけているって感じ。
   「ん」はあまりいれない方がいい、とか。
   例えば、
   「サンタの話を伝えるんでしょう。」->「サンタの話を伝えるのでしょう」

   If this advice is too unintelligible, you should ignore it.

   Sorry, was bored and since Hung asked for a translation, here\’s a quick one for the first two paragraphs in English and T. Chinese…

   What age were you when your disbelief in Santa Claus began? The old man who lives in the North Pole, wearing his red suit once every year, and delivering presents to children around the world on the night of Christmas Eve. Looking at it through physics and common sense, such a fairy tale can\’t be true. So why are there people who believe in Santa Claus in this world?

   According to calculations, such a quantity of toys should weigh at least 50 million kilos and would require 360,000 reindeers to transport. As all the presents have to be delivered to the children of the world before morning, his sledge would have to travel approx. 5000 KM/s to make it in time. If so, Santa Claus would burn up in an instant due to the heat caused by friction, from transporting 50 million kilos of cargo at a speed of 5000 KM/s.    大家從幾歳起開始就不相信有聖誕老人呢？一個住在北極的老人家，每年只一次穿上紅衣一件，而後在聖誕夕夜的一晚向全世界的小朋友派禮物。從物理與常識上來看這個故事沒可能。這樣，為甚還有人相信聖誕老人呢？

   根據某些計算，要運送最小有５千萬公斤重的玩具會需３６萬隻馴鹿。由而要朝早前送到全世界的小朋友家中，聖誕老人的雪撬要達到時速大約每秒５千公里才可做到。如這樣，聖誕老人會因用每秒５千公里的時速來運送５千萬公斤的物體産生的摩擦熱力被燒起。創出這計算的人想說的是即便有聖誕老人，他已經被燒死。

   笑話就完了但···

   The speech contest is determined by the script? Aren’t you actually get on stage to perform the speech…? (In paintful memory of last year speech contest…)

    Theres really such an association called normad that tracks santa and gives tele no and the location of santa through net just so that children will be happy??

    Isnt this the paragraph i saw on your laptop during our class? lol. Good luck for your speech! Maybe you will win the tickets to japan this year ( thats top prize rite? )

    Oh ya, can you still change small details of your speech if you wanted to? or it has to stay fixed since you are already in the semis.

    When I participate last year’s contest in my country I only manage to get a 3000 yen dictionary and some small souvenir thingys cuz I was not in the top 3

    I attended the recent speech contest and recognized you when you came up for the anti-Santa Claus speech. At least you can devise a proper speech passage….

    anyways, haha, you seem to be not coming to Abo-sensei’s JLPT1 prep anymore….taking a break? (yes I also realized we are in the same class, i’ll leave you to guess, mr haruhi-fan)
