I registered a new domain for some unfathomable reason. Hurray! The catch is that I can’t decide what I should do with it. (It may seem like I’m doing things backwards, but actually that’s just your imagination.)
Some ideas so far:
- moé picture of the day (NSFW galore?)
- peer-ranked Digg-style anime news
- user-submitted anime news but with moderators instead of peer ranking
- translation-related stuff
- a blog in Japanese (ã§ãã‚‹ã‹ãªãƒ»ãƒ»ãƒ»)
- something so crazy, cool and revolutionary that I haven’t thought of it yet
- leave the domain to mould because I’m too lazy to actually implement anything
So what’dya think? That last option sounds pretty good to me right now…

I agree with the Digg-like style site. I was actually thinking of doing that with tsundere.us but I doubt I’ll have time to code something like that from scratch.

I second the MOTD (Moe of the Day) idea. However, let’s make the pictures peer-rankable.
Failing that, starting a danbooru backup site on that domain sounds nice too.

Do the Digg thing
Digg is one of the most idiotic corners of the internet. Why anyone would be inspired to emulate that site I have no idea.
I have an idea for you, though. It fits with the name, and could be interesting.
You know how everyone is always struggling to define moé?

Also, look at one of the sites itself, like thecutest.info.
Now, steal the idea, but fill the site with moemoe bishoujo instead.
Allow user submissions, but require they be approved by you before they go onto the site.
In the end, we will have the Collective’s definition of moé.
Not only is it a good idea, but it should be quite easy to implement. Just make sure people can’t get away with biasing the results in favour of their preferred heroine.
(P.S. speaking of moé, upload the full version of your Nyro~n banner picture somewhere)
