Well, Sunrise announced that a Gundam SEED movie is in the works about three days ago. Since they explicitly stated that it’s going to be a completely new work based on the same universe, we can probably assume (and hope) that it’s not going to be 2 hours of recap.
Anyway, I have some requests for Sunrise:
- Bring Stellar back.
- No Gundam F91 plskthxbye.
- Please do not try to “adapt” (i.e. screw up) an existing manga or novel.
- Don’t even think about letting T.M.Revolution voice another character.
- More Lacus is good.
- FictionJunction MAAYA… please?
Come on Sunrise. I’m not asking for a lot here. >_<

I hope that won’t happen really.. I concur with most of the points up there…. but I can probably believe that the movie is a *new* story with the same cast of characters.. more Athrun woohoo \o/
My wishlist :
1. Not some crap filler movie for pure marketing purposes coughNarutoOnePieceBleachcough.
2. Since Miguel is alive/revived in MSV canon by some dickhead not named Fukuda who thinks it’s cool to survive a direct slash, have TMR voice him again as Athrun’s rival kthxbye.
3. Either be a closure movie liek CCA (( yeah right, as if )) or be a link to a season 3, where Kira’s the villian or something.
4. Plz don’t sing, TMR.
5. Al DA FLAGGA vs KIRA. MASKED GILBERT vs SHINN. MIGUEL vs ATHRUN.
6. Kira, I love you and all, but please end up like Sora or Riku at the end of KH I.

My only wish is Kira not act like such a woman this time around. It’s embarrassing. Same with Shinn and his choking… if the movies were the playoffs, our boy is looking at a 0-4 sweep.
Btw, Kira is already a villian. SOME stupid fan poll in a Gundam mag put him in the top 10 for best Gundam villians of all time.

I wonder if completely new work in same universe means side story (i.e. Astray) or means the continuing adventures of Kira, Lacus and company.
If that’s the case, I just hope for lots of pretty explosions and lots of Lacus face time… otherwise I don’t have much hope… that is unless Fukuda isn’t involved as director again!
