Kinokuniya just called today to inform me that they are unable to bring in my order for School Days Sekai-hen because it failed to get pass the Singapore Censorship Board. Considering the number of actual pornographic Japanese novels on display at Kinokuniya, I am absolutely baffled by how the Censorship Board functions. Seriously, School Days is nothing compared to what Kinokuniya put on the shelves.
Maybe no one at the Censorship Board reads Japanese, so they judge the content of the books by their pictures. But then again, I did managed to order two Da Capo novels, containing a few HCG’s from the game as illustrations, from the very same Kinokuniya. Not to mention that I know for a fact that the branch at Liang Court has (or had) the Kotonoha-hen of School Days novel in stock.
So, I’ve come to the conclusion that my order was blocked because someone in the government hates me. I’m pretty sure that the insidious fiend plotting against me will find a way to intercept the book again even if I were to order it from Amazon JP. Shit, now I absolutely have to go to Japan in June, if only just to get this novel.
And they just had to inform me about this on Friday the 13th. Grrrr…

Summer Days had been delayed till April.
And I think I need your help to bring Summer Days in. Himeya had given up on accepting Checks and Money Oders since they revamp their site. If they will not change their stand by March…….
I do not understand Kinokuniya. They supply yaoi manga and from my perspective, it reads as pornographic material. Homosexual at that. I do not see the logic as well.
hm… paper-san try using Amazon with DHL services instead EMS/airmail … since DHL usually have their own censorship (well i dunno for sure, but the thing i know, they always check the package by their own company, so nation/official costum officer rarely taking care packages that handle by DHL)
the good side, you can receive the book so fast, within 2 days usually, and i never experience they had to sent back because of some `H` books.
the bad side, expensive shipping cost, compared to standard EMS shipping cost, but from what i know, the shipping cost in amazon with or without DHL dun have big different.
I ever order from amazon using the DHL service… the goods come in great condition, the packaging that from Amazon, untoched by the costum
